October 27, 2006, Newsletter Issue #37: The USO is Your Friend

Tip of the Week

Those traveling on permanent change of station orders, especially to overseas locations, will want to take advantage of the USO's airport lounges located in airports all over American and many places overseas. The USO operates these lounges free of charge, and they are places to rest, relax, watch TV, surf the internet and even sleep until boarding time.

Many military transitions to overseas locations require you to spend long hours in the airport--the USO can help you pass the time in a clean, friendly environment. Oftentimes there is free food, coffee and reading material, all you need to do is show your military ID card at the USO front desk and you're in!
