Everyone loves catching up with old friends and coworkers at a military reunion, but sometimes you don't need to take the time and expense to hold a separate get-together .A service-connected event could double as an excuse for you to have a reunion. A great example--if you are trying to round up all your old coworkers from a particular assignment, why not use your old commander's retirement ceremony as a way to gather the troops for one more bash?
Chances are at least some of your coworkers were planning to be there anyway, and depending on the rank and status of your old boss, you may even be able to secure a permissive Temporary Duty Assignment to attend! Your old commander's secretary can help you do the work of a military reunion planner by letting you know who has already RSVP'd for the ceremony, and you can contact the others to try and persuade them to join you. A military reunion party can take many different forms, this is just one way to kill two birds with one stone. The only limit is your imagination.
